Trumps last loss showed that moderates truly do not like extremes and likely will vote for Biden again even if they have to hold her noses. In my view, moderates are what gave Biden his current presidency, and there’s no reason to believe that DeSantis has enough appeal to overcome his polarizing policies and political theatric. Regardless, it will likely be a close race and he could win as the GOP works tirelessly to gerrymander and hinder voting rights.
