It looks like a house to me, is it common in Australia to have your sofa in an elevated booth in your house? Legitimately asking, I’ve never been in an Australian home, so I have no clue. I’ve only been in elevated booths in restaurants and you still had to look up at someone standing next to the booth.
Strange, I didn’t notice that. I guess I just assumed the guy was sitting down in an elevated booth.

I’m not Australian. I’ve never heard of an elevated booth outside of a restaurant either; I was just making excuses for my brain.
