Tobacco pipe making. Buy a predrilled briar block for ~$35. A Dremel with a few bits to quickly get it to shape… Hand sand for 10+ hours. Oil and wax it.
I very rarely smoke a pipe, usually only when around others that smoke a pipe. Think I’m on my 9th pipe. I have given most of them away but have a few I’ve kept for myself. Every once in awhile just pick them up to appreciate how nice the wood turned out.
