my perception that might be entirely wrong is that the pre-trump tesla buying market was lib leaning techbro type people with a little bit of silicon valley flavored granola sprinkled in, and then after trump’s election musk started pushing those people away and then post-twitter acquisition the primary tesla buyer is the chuddy techbro with the libby techbros moving to other electrics like rivian, etc
