A few days after 9/11, there was a sole vote in the entire US Congress, against military action in response to terrorists who were dead. She, and everyone who opposed war in Afghanistan and Iraq were demonized for it. At the time, she implored Americans that we “not become the evil that we deplore”. Tlaib is giving Barbara Lee energy.
