I told him I described the guy I work with as a Chud. The guy’s obsessed with true crime stories. I know we joke here in left wing circles about white guys who will break out the FBI crime statistics a few minutes into any conversation but, this guy plausibly could do that from what I’ve gathered from listening to him. It’s like his hyperfixation is crime stories the same way mine is history. But besides that, from talking to him I gather he has a rather cynical, individualistic, and frankly immature view of humanity. The usual “muh human nature” stuff you get from conservatives.
