I liked the episode, but ah… the ED arc is so boring, in comparison with before (Demon Continent) and after (not spoiling it~)…

content that only makes sense for those who read the novel

Goddammit Elinalise! Your granddaughter called dibs on him! No flirting with Rudeus!

Hitogami being Hitogami makes me root for Orsted. Seriously, fuck that clown.

Nice to see Cliff, Pursena, Rinia. Cliff only popped up in that Eris gaiden, Pursena and Rinia are still to come.

Ditto. There are a lot of important characters in this arc, but relatively few important events; I wouldn’t mind if they abridged it to get to the

        resolution of the arc

“And then they married and lived happily forever!” Until he cheats on her.

        sooner than later.

Yeah that’s a good distinction to make. So far the pacing has felt decent so I’m sure they won’t dwell too long. I’m very excited to see where they end the season.

The main issue in Rudeus’ life being ED is the perfect motivator for that scumbag. I’m excited to see what going to school is going to teach our boy.
