With the elections nearing and the Biden-Harris administration still being complicit in Genocide there is but one way for crocodile tear liberals to fix the issue: Start banning anyone who comments about the Biden administration being complicit in Genocide.

/Politics mod JordanLund who also mods /WorldNews decides Biden has nothing to do with the Genocide in Gaza

JordanLund banned users in the past for questioning israel’s right to exist. JordanLund now takes it one step further and is now spreading misinformation about israel not running out of weapons without American support so Biden and Harris are “not complicit in Genocide”:

I link him a guardian article proving he is lying (JordanLund has deleted my comment which just quoted a Guardian article debunking his lies):

Biden must force Israel to end the war

Recent reports in the Israeli press make clear that because of a global shortage of ammunition that started with the Ukraine war, Israel would not be able to sustain its bombardment of Gaza without the US resupplying the Israeli military.

JordanLund responds by calling TheGuardian misinformation, promptly bans me and says he supports the “rightful defense of israel”.

He also piles on more lies and claims the only weapons being sent by Biden are Interceptor missiles which are “misappropriated by israel for the use in Genocide”?

Reuters Exclusive: US has sent Israel thousands of 2,000-pound bombs since Oct. 7

Between the war’s start last October and recent days, the United States has transferred at least 14,000 of the MK-84 2,000-pound bombs

Lemmy.World has reached /Politics and /WorldNews communities which differ little from their Reddit counterpart.

Dude. You do know that people can click on your account to fact check this, right?

Speaking of which… You never did respond to my comment where I laid out why your “vote third party” suggestion would, if implemented en masse, get Trump elected (which would be worse for Palestinians). Was it because I mentioned your probably UTC+3 time zone?

Are you sure you actually want that? It’ll pretty quickly become clear to them that someone who appears to be in a time zone pretty distant from the US is following the tactics of the alt-right playbook pretty much to the letter while using the genocide in Palestine to argue for internal US political actions that would result in a fascist being elected and making said genocide worse (not to mention likely starting up one or more genocides of their own).

The response from him below is so fucking typical. Accuses everyone of being a lying Zionist and doesn’t address what they’ve said. It’s like they think we’re completely fucking blind to what they’re doing.

You should try asking Linkerbaan if they’re concerned that they’re contributing to the election of trump, someone WAY worse for Palestine. They’ll find some lame ass excuse to dodge the question, as always.

I especially enjoy how they will accuse you of whatever they literally just did and then in the same breath say you’re projecting lol

Funnily enough, I’ve done pretty much that and simply got silence in response after several days of waking up to responses from them that were sent a few minutes after 09:00 UTC+3.

They love to call people genocide enablers, etc. (which I believe to be in conflict with lemmy.world’s sitewide terms of service), but you’re right - they dodge the question when people point out that they’re advocating policies that harm the very population they claim to want to protect.

Yeah, Linkerbaan will never ever respond to anything like that. They have a handful of lame comebacks that all amount to “nuh uh you are”.

They love to call people genocide enablers, etc. (which I believe to be in conflict with lemmy.world’s sitewide terms of service)

Nonono see everyone is a Zionist, doing nothing but trying to hide the truth! Especially the mods! …by allowing people to post “the truth” constantly and rarely disciplining anyone for breaking the rules or getting in fights with several mods during which they blatantly lie their asses off and expect to get literally zero pushback, but instead get slight pushback. So much persecution!!

I agree with you about the timezone, I’ve noticed that for a while. And I think it’s pretty clear what they are doing and any mod with any concern about Trump, or, ironically, Palestine, should ban Linkerbaan everywhere they can, permanently, immediately.

Yes they should try doing so since you’re just making things up. In fact can you respond to the post above.

Talking about the alt-right playbook while mods are censoring a Genocide because of their political preference is some projection.

In the comment above, we see attempts to:

all straight out of the alt-right playbook.

They also accuse me of making things up despite plenty of examples of their doing exactly what I’m pointing out.

Their actions match strongly with those of a bad faith contributor who focuses on a single topic (the genocide in Palestine) on one particular side (anti-genocide) whilst advocating for actions that many (including myself) have pointed out would, in fact, lead to the opposite result. When others point this out, what they get in return isn’t a nuanced discussion of these concerns, but rather personal attacks that I believe qualify as repeated violations of rule 1.1 of lemmy.world.
