Yeah, but fucking why? Like… I know companies like fucking over consumers. But why? What benefit do they get from this? Is it a control thing? Is making things more difficult for consumers just a fetish or something?
Presumably because, by making the Spotify experience feel worse, it increases the chance that people will switch to Apple Music instead
