I dunno why people avoid asking stuff like this. I always see the “happy last week” or “what are grateful” and I can’t relate to these type of posts.
I’m mostly on the miserable side than sad tbh, that’s why I won’t post my experience.

Because if you want to get sad, angered and all the other type of negative emotions, there are hundreds of other communities to do so.
This community, and a few others (!wholesome@reddthat.com , !lemmybewholesome@lemmy.world ) are the few where we actively try to keep a positive vibe.
That said, it’s obviously fine to share something that made sad of course, but maybe not having this as a regular thread.
There is also !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world that could fit the bill.
Then you should probably just ban OP lol. He has literally never had a positive interaction on Lemmy (I hate dogs, I hate heat, I hate religion, commenting about how miserable he is on every other thread). Just look at his comment history. And that’s saying nothing of his previous accounts because he’s also a serial ban evader.
Hey,
As always, thank you for your comment
I wasn’t sure it was the same person, as OP mentions not having any link to family while the previously banned person lived with his mother.
I might do a meta post later on how to deal with overtly negative people, to see what the rest of the community is thinking
It is definitely the same person. This account mentioned in the now deleted “I hate dogs” thread that he lives with his mother. I actually clocked him by his speech patterns within the first couple of comments he made with this new account, but I figured you modfolk would want a bit more evidence first.
Thanks for the insight! We’ll discuss and review in the coming days
