Is there a joke here beyond “farmer is improbably in a business meeting”? I couldn’t find a meaning for sodbuster that added anything, nor did I see any common 90’s business slang about farming.
Just funny that a sodbuster is on the board (although tons of sodbusters on boards here in the Midwest usa). I don’t think you’re missing anything. It’s just irreverent silliness.

Seems like a predjudice thing to me, like a slur for farmer.
