Ford lightning?
Didn’t GM release a GMC/Chevy version of the Humme Rute?
And if you’re in Europe* you do not need a truck. You need an EV van. And there are loads of them.
Honestly this is true for all but I am done trying to explain the foolishness of trucks and superiority of vans to image obsessed Americans. Like 90% of American work trucks would do their jobs better if they were vans.
Feels like the actual contractors I see around - plumbers, electricians - use utility vans. There’s a handyman around here that I’ve seen with a fully kitted out van workshop (think vanlife setup, but a wood shop inside). The people driving around American “light” trucks don’t seem to actually be using them for working.
(USA - West coast)
Precisely. Now that I am back I nEurope. A kitted out van is the de facto vehicle of trades. It’s been a few years since I moved from the US. So perhaps the trades have now gotten the memo.
As I say, I see vanishingly few cases where a truck is better than a van for a trades person or the job site. And of course even less so for a layman.
