Because it doesn’t work for Amazon (it kinda go dark, but buggy) and Zepp Life, and probably others.

I see, I think MIUI has its own feature, but it isn’t like a standalone app anyway.

Yeah it was buggy as hell. It was forced on users but no one liked it so they removed it I think.
Has or had, not sure, it wasn’t bugless anyway.
