Nikon’s annual Small World competition is a beautiful mashup of art and science, celebrating the best images taken through a light microscope. This year’s winner shows mouse brain tumor cells and was taken by Bruno Cisterna, a faculty member at Augusta University’s Medical College of Georgia.
