As a fan of BG3, I strongly urge against such an approach.

While it’s good to have a great number of positive reviews, reviewing a game solely based on the absence of microtransactions sets a disappointingly low threshold.

As much as i hate microtransactions, it’s important to remember that the review page on BG3 is intended for providing feedback, criticism and praise for the game, not to express frustration and disappointment with a different game.

Low effort reviews ultimately dilute actual meaningful feedback and strengths of the game, which are crucial for other readers and prospective players seeking insights about the game.

Let’s keep the review section for what it was intended for – discussing and evaluating Baldur’s Gate 3.
