This seems like a really interesting development. This seems like an interesting way of overcoming EV range anxiety. Hopefully battery technology will continue to evolve but maybe cars that can regenerate their batteries by driving might be part of the future too.

This is absolute bunkum. It is a zero point energy device, a similar idea to a cold fusion reactor, and absolutely not real. The fact that this got published on MSN.com is an indictment of their editorial process, suggesting that they would also post “bat boy” and alien abduction stories.

The basic idea is that there is no free source of energy. Anyone who tries to sell you on the idea of free motion or work being done is trying to scam you.

Or they have science so advanced it seems like magic to you. But that’s an unlikely scenario :)

The company claims that E-Cat technology can charge the battery of an electric vehicle continuously while it is driving. E-Cat Power provides 24/7 continuous, unlimited and sustainable electricity without generating emissions or requiring fuel.

Don’t mix smoking meth and writing what apparently passes as articles these days, folks!
