I’ve seen a few good critical essays and videos, honestly less contrived than a lot of Korra/NATLA criticism, and they get snuffed into oblivion. It feels like the Star Wars fandom. Maybe even more extreme.

Season three had serious pacing issues due to the writers’ strike. I’d be interested in seeing what season 2 criticism is like.
