For years, Hezbollah told the Lebanese that it alone could defend them from Israel. It boasted of powerful weapons and hardened commandos who would unleash deadly “surprises” if war broke out. And it assured its followers that a regional alliance of militias supported by Iran would jump in to support it in battle.
Those myths have now been shattered.
What a claim giving footage of Israeli soldiers running crying. Sending US bomb doesn’t mean Hizbollah was losing in any form. The literary send multiple rocket over the other day, but of course no one talk about it.
The reality is all military experts made it clear sending troops to Lebanon is a big mistake, and it is not sustainable in any form.
People don’t follow the in depth news about what happening, look at the optics, and then draw a conclusion that doesn’t make sense.
I expect this thread will have to be locked pretty quickly 😬
More substantively, taking Netanyahu at face value (which you shouldn’t do, but for the sake of argument), does this mean the genocide is finally over?
This ceasefire is only for Israel’s secondary conflict in Lebanon with Hezbollah. The genocide in Palestine is still ongoing and not likely to stop anytime soon.
Hezbollah began firing on Israel in solidarity with Hamas…
Well now, that wasn’t very sensible was it?
