Dealing with health insurance and disability insurance has made me sincerely wonder how people don’t target insurance offices with violence. I’m surprised this is the first time something like this has happened. The average person is treated as completely disposable. No more money in the bank? No ability to work for somebody else’s profit? No value to you.

because no matter how hard or difficult it gets, putting your loved ones through that kind of media hell sideshow isn’t worth it. the media is a tool by the aristocracy and bourgeoisie to keep the proletariat in check.
not only that, they have taken over the government and are liquidating it into an oligarchy that they alone control. this makes court a public execution of not just your character but the character of your loved ones (how could they support a monster who went against social norms).
The shooter will be caught because 300 CSI/detectives will be combing through 800 hours of security footage from 10,000 locations just to track this person down. all while “Janes” rapist continues to walk the streets because the proletariat can’t afford to pay off the police to protect and serve.
the whole system is built to keep us compliant and complicit with the demands of the aristocracy. Produce. Consume. Obey.
this movie has many depressing similarities to the current day than it did when it was released 36 years ago.
I don’t think that is the reason. I think the reason is people fear prison. That’s my reason, anyway. It’s hard enough being chronically ill and not in the American slave system.
Every time there’s a school shooting I’m like damn y’all are going after the wrong people.
Hope this is a new trend to replace school shootings…
To be fair, aren’t almost all school shootings done by attendants of the school? At least all the ones that have stuck in my brain are ones committed by current or previous students of the school they shot. And I can’t think of how to verify that either way this morning. In those cases, though, it’s probably not entirely political, but personal.
I think it’s a mix of total crazies who decided that school kids are an easy target for their craziness and then bitter current/former students who were often severely bullied and decided to take matters into their own hands.
I don’t think it’s political, but that’s besides the point - my sentiment is always the same, why can’t they do a mass shooting at Davos instead of at an elementary school?
Edit: I’m so confused by the internet. My above comment has 7 upvotes, this has 0, yet they express the same sentiment. I know it’s just dumb imaginary internet points but like where’s the consistency?
Assuming it’s school attendants themselves, then they probably don’t have a direct reason to shoot up anywhere but their school. Maybe their home. Their school is probably the thing that’s causing them direct issues in their life, it’s where their anger is aimed, and people don’t often consider better options when they’re that level of angry. I just don’t really see these two things having enough overlap for that to be a thing.
Obviously, it’s a very different scenario when it’s not someone who’s enrolled at the school. That’s a level of dysfunction that I can’t even begin to look at the world through the lens of. I don’t think that kind of dysfunction is the one to take suggestions of better places to shoot up, though.
It’s a view of well if they’re gonna go on a mass shooting anyway they might as well go after people who deserve it, not little kids
You’re asking for a lot of deep thought from young people who are lashing out in pain or anger and frustration.
I get that, and I don’t disagree, but my point is that the venn diagram of “shoots up schools” and “shoots up political targets” don’t really overlap. Kids don’t kill people for political reasons, they kill because they’re in pain. Yes, they have a “better” target but that target isn’t causing them active daily suffering.
We don’t really know what “this” is yet.
Most probably it was internal, for money only?
That’s what I mean, we don’t know. Could be a lot of things. Seems premeditated, like he was specifically targeted, so it doesn’t seem like a random crazy person or a mugging, but other than that, we don’t have any idea why he was killed or who the murderer is.
it was about as internal as those bullets are in his chest.
I bet it was someone who lost or is losing a family member because this company refused care.
or perhaps it was someone who was refused treatment of their mental illness.
There had to be some kind of intel for the shooter to find the guy. If it was this easy to hunt CEOs there’d be a lot more people bagging them.
I vote for open season on health insurance CEOs. Seems like an efficient crowd sourced way to drain the swamp.
This could be the opening shot on CEO season.
I wouldn’t be so sure…
We really out here censoring guns in memes now, huh?
And such a pointless censorship too. It’s still obvious they are guns, I can even tell one’s a revolver, one’s an automatic pistol. And Frank having guns in his hands is the whole point of the meme.
That’s why I find it funny. It would be like halving the resolution in a closeup of a massive, erect cock. No one would be confused about what they were looking at and their attention would be focused on it due to the resolution change.
He started bl*lasting, didn’t he?
When I’m trying to get help for someone to not be homeless but they have to be homeless to get help
really, censoring the guns?
Are we on a children psa or something? That’s fair, Underwood knows what they did
