My guy has a community for every decade from the 1900s. But seriously, you’re part of the problem, just creating those communities so you can be a mod in them. You can’t grow all 40 by yourself even if you wanted to.

I have started many communities and got them going to were I stepped down as a moderator and let others run them. Maybe lacking engagement right now but in time I am sure it will get itself going.
lemmy.worldhas about 12K communities, 11K of which are inactive. These additions means there’s now 11,003 inactive ones. For anything that’s trying to index the ‘lemmyverse’, point users to anything interesting, you’ve just added more useless data to sift through. Every time you post on here, the comments are asking what your deal is. If you don’t want to consider the humans, maybe consider the bots?
