I’m willing to consider that I’m wrong about this. But at some point it’s just an issue of practicality. How many neopronouns do you need to have memorized for work? How many neopronouns is reasonable?
I find it very reasonable to remember male/female/nonbinary pronouns for everyone I work with.
But if I had to remember a special neopronoun for every single individual, I wouldn’t be able to finish a work conversation. I would probably stop using pronouns altogether, and just use their name. At that point, what’s the point of pronouns?
So I really want to know, how many neopronouns do you need to remember, and how many neopronouns do you think you’re reasonably capable of remembering?
