Yeah I’ve seen at least two studies showing that no matter what stuff you’re into online, the algo pushes you into the right-wing and into conspiracies, which both tend to overlap. I know FB and YT shifted their algos in 2019 (and obvs X later) after RWers threw a fit that they were “biased” against conservative hate-content. Now it’s like no matter what I watch on YT I get anti trans and RW bullshit. I literally never click on them, yet they keep getting pushed
I swear the only way to get ppl to take facts seriously is going to be by presenting them as conspiracies at this point
