Would the brain just instantly short circuit and the body drops dead instantly?
Ok…I fell down a rabbit hole that I don’t have time for so I’m going to post what I wrote so far even though it’s incomplete.
I feel like it’d have to be pretty quick? Some quick searching and I found when it’s non-fatal, alcohol metabolizes within 24 hours…so I’m assuming too much would kill you faster than that.
As for the pain, BAC over 0.4% is coma time so I’m guessing a BAC of 90.0% would knock you out instantly
Then I looked into what it would mean for the oxygen in your blood. Does decanting wine cause it to absorb oxygen? Is that a concern? This is where I realized how insane it was to be looking into this theoretical mass murder by Jesus
He turns water to wine, not to ethanol. Still, a BAC of 18% probably doesn’t change much.

the moment the water that compromises a large portion of your brain turned into wine you’d cease all cognitive function.
I mean I can think of worse ways to go…
A person stops being “a person” quite immediately. “Dying” is something people do, there isn’t that action there.
Or, in other words, yeah, you stop having something you can call a “brain” immediately.
as mentioned you wouldn’t even have time to die, but i think your body would also rapidly start dissolving…
