Despite elevated office vacancy rates, downtown Milwaukee’s recovery since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic ranks among the best in the Midwest, according to a recent study from the University of Toronto.
Sounds like Milwaukee, along with Columbus and Omaha, may have simply had more people return to their worksite since Covid started. Blue collar workers, a long with many white collar workers, need to be on site and don’t have the option to WFH
