Her fur was getting too clumped up. Think she got into some tree sap or something.

We once had a cat, Mojo, who got terribly matted like that once and we found out she loved to be shaved.
My wife is a vet tech and would bring her in for the new employees to practice trimming. She would lean into the trimmer and purr the whole time.

My elderly ragdoll needed grooming too.
Had to do the same thing to our Twitch. Vet said she was a “lazy groomer.” Still is, in fact. We try to brush her out as much as we can.
