i wonder how much immigration & asylum seeking is going to suck as the global north’s capitalism descends into world spanning fascism.

unlike the last period where fascists had any sort of control; this time it’s universally exhibited by the world’s most powerful nations with empires that span multiple other countries from the global south. such a world wide posture for global north facism guarantees that the governments from the global south that are chained to these fascist regimes economically &/or physically will likewise impose isolationist friendly policies onto their own nations and people, including their immigrants and refugees.

my pondering is entirely self serving since i’m likely to be one of those immigrants, in a few years time after the american facists have killed off all of the things that i love about where i live now.
