I don’t know why people don’t want to work in the office. I spent a week working from home and it felt like a prison.

I feel office is the prison, complete with other inmates and a warden.

Its the single worst place to be for work.

It’s nice to go to the office from time to see the colleagues, but it’s horrible for efficiency. And, truth be told, I’d be a lot less happy when asked to drop by if I wasn’t reimbursed the travel expenses, paid for the travel time, and per diem for the trip. Office is a couple of hours away.

My company is a horrible work environment. Anytime I go in person, I work half as fast and get tired faster.

Noise, distractions, bad ergonomics, meh hardware…

It’s expensive, uncomfortable and only occasionally helpful. To each his own, I guess.

I love hybrid work. A little bit of in person comminucation and small talk to make sure everyone remembers the other people are human beings and the work at home days to actually get the work done.
