    It’s really sickening. It was one of the earliest subreddits I ever subscribed to, TWELVE YEARS AGO chomsky-yes-honey.

      My personal theory is that the popularity of Bernie phonebanking campaign on Reddit in 2015-2016 really marked a new phase where state actors and corporate interests began to flood the site to sway public narrative and to subtly advertise their products through community engagements.
