Unless I’m mistaken, a few days ago at least a few users were having a pretty big struggle session about hexbear. Supposedly we are “secretly maga and right wing” or something like that.
Some people did, but it’s hard to point at most instances, especially a general one like .ee and address it as a unified culture cause it’s only existed for like 2 months.
The discussion and resolution about whether to defend from us is a defining moment in the development of their culture, though. As long as we can still post with them, then we know their site as a whole has fallen on the correct side of that discussion.
No discounting the rubes we have both seen posting in the wild though. I just don’t think that we can address them as an instance with a fully formed culture yet.
