      While US propaganda about China is definitely a thing, there is substantial videographic evidence of this event, well before the likes of picture-realistic graphics for video.

      US propaganda existing, and the fact that some realities of Chinese history are grim are not mutually exclusive concepts.

      I for one am a strong proponent of China being successful, I just hope they can reckon with their past instead of suppressing any mention of the “incident”.

      True socialism involves the workers actually holding the levers of power directly or via representatives actually beholden to them. How can this be the case where political discussion is only tolerated on small scale and immediately shut-down if it gains any wider traction?
