"ProPublica has identified three lawyers with elite establishment credentials who have also joined the DOGE effort.

Two are former Supreme Court clerks — one clerked for Chief Justice John Roberts, another for Justice Neil Gorsuch — and the third has been selected to be a Gorsuch clerk for the 2025-2026 term."

Clerks of the same Supreme Court Judges that issued the immunity ruling.

In itself, that doesn’t mean much. Being a Supreme Court clerk is a hotly contested job for young law school grads. If you’re offered one, you aren’t going to be picky about who your boss will be.

Obviously, they had a lot more choice to work with Musk or not.
