You’re describing problems with bourgeois media that have always existed (Parenti and Chomsky both have good woks on the subject specifically, even Lenin talked about it iirc). It’s no more “rigging” to use it for one party like that than it is during business as usual — it is always used against the proletariat to prop up the bourgeoisie, no matter which bourgeois politicians they’re supporting.
