No no they aren’t “saluting” him, their heart goes out to him.
they are doing a gesture.
that may or may not bear an ever so slight resemblance with a Nazi salute
But we can’t be sure.
Both recent posts in this community use similar wording for " Ze gesture". Reuters use " hail Trump at far-right" and this one uses “salute”.
