Depending on the type of fluoride application done, if it is done, you might need to wait a bit. But most dentists in my area have switched to this weird paste that gets applied via swab, and by the time you’re out the door, you can do anything except brush your teeth, which you have to wait a few hours for.
Iirc the liquid rinse fluoride you have to wait some time before eating, but it’s been so long I can’t recall exactly
