Easy! I’d have to say the Tudor Black Bay Heritage. It was my first Swiss watch, and I loved it ever since it came out in 2012. Long before I could afford one. I cut an ad out of a jewelry store catalog and hung it in my cube as a “someday” kind of inspiration, and couldn’t afford one until 2020. I picked it up March 5, pretty much right before that whole year went to crap.

It’s also the watch I wore when my daughter was born, so there’s a lot of memories associated with it.

It’s not super expensive, as far as luxury watches go. And there are a lot of things about it that other watch collectors don’t like. Oh, there’s no crown guards. Oh, you can’t have Snowflake hands with round indices. Oh, it’s too thick. Oh, the riveted bracelet looks bulky. But I love all those things, and it was the inspiration of more than one Invicta mod of mine until I could get it.
