But you’re also focusing on this one little thing and not consideringthe broader point I am making: he is far too sympathetic to Russia. They are an aggressor nation, Putin invaded a sovereign nation with a nonsensical premise. Russia is solely responsible for countless deaths and unimaginable suffering for both nations. We cannot tolerate this in the modern era. Russia invaded Ukraine for imperialist ambitions just as they have done multiple times to other sovereign territories in the last 20 years - why should we condone this behavior? They do it over and over again.
They are the ones who have to back down. They are the ones who have to be told by the world that enough is enough. They are going to keep doing this over and over again because the government sees people as a resource to be spent for their personal glory and the consolidation of power. That is it. There is no nuance to be gleaned here. If you are sympathetic to Russia, you are part of the problem and you are wrong.
