Describe it how you want, but the American people and American system brought Trump in; and it wasn’t even close. However you see yourself, the fact is that America is a Trump supporting country.
Trump is the first Republican since George W. Bush in 2004 to win the popular vote, the same year a Republican last secured a second term. Trump is the first non-incumbent Republican to have won the popular vote since George H. W. Bush in 1988.[26][630] Trump improved his percentage of the vote in every state and DC compared to the 2020 election;[631] 2024 was the first presidential election since 1976 in which all 50 states and DC shifted to the same party.
Around 90% of counties swung towards Trump between the 2020 and 2024 elections, encompassing both rural and urban areas,[635] and it was the first time since 1932 in which the losing candidate failed to flip a single county.
Decline in Democratic turnout also was a major contributor to Trump winning the popular vote. Comparisons to 2020 and 2024 votes cast in heavily populated Democratic urban centers showed Harris losing millions of votes.
Harris won 226 Electoral College votes, the worst performance for a Democratic presidential ticket since that of Michael Dukakis in 1988.
That’s not even accounting for the shit show that was grandpa Biden refusing to step down. Dude was clearly half a brain out the door, Fumbled hard or a planned loss who knows but agent orange had the election handed to him when democrats refused to do anything about Biden and the massive amount of disinformation. They had 4 whole damn years.
Most of us hate it. (It look less than a majority to elect these fools)

While I agree with your general point, voter suppression can taint the turnout numbers somewhat.
