So if I do these steps (click on the search icon, click on all communities and on all communities again) the app closes. I believe that to be a bug, and if itis and it was already reported at codeberg my apologies
Some extra:
-
this happens at any page(as long as you follow the procedure)
-
And no it doesn’t happen when you click to search at communities (like being at Eternity, click search then clicking at search at eternity again)
-
Currently it’s also happening at the nightly version
Unrelated:can anyone tell me how to post images on lemmy?(multiple ones in sequence)(like without being the same way I just did[the hyperlink]) I think this could be beneficial so the dev (and people)so they don’t have to click on links just to see images
Than you for your report!
I’ve just fixed this issue in 6e51ea6ee7.
Regarding you question about posting multiple images to a Lemmy post, Eternity supports it by default. You can add images to the contents of your post with the toolbar at the bottom (last element; you need to scroll).
Oh of course, I didn’t notice I was able to scroll, thank you!
Not answers to your question, but how did you include images in a sequence in single link ?
Also, how to favourite communities ?

About the images=that’s just how imgur works, you upload a certain amout of photos, and it gets you a link to them, and eternity (and some other apps) open those links just as the images. Ps= I am not completely sure, but that probably works on other services for sharing images that are not imgur)
-
now to favorite communities= make sure you are at the latest version (currently 0.1.0) as this is a new feature added this update>now go the the side tab>go to the account part(you can see the first option being profile and subscription the third is inbox and then saved)>click on the subscription button> now you will se a panel with all your subscriptions and after them a heart Symbol if you click on it it will favorite the community
Thankyou ! I am on nightly and was confused i could see the commits for favourites part on the repo, but not on the app. This solves it.
Regarding the images part ( in your question ), i think lemmy itself doesnt have such a support for multi images i guess.
Glad to be of help.
Welp, I guess I gotta wait Lemmy update then, but anyway thank you

I can reproduce this too, on version 0.1.0
I think if you open an issue on the dev’s codeberg, they’ll notice it and be able to document it thoroughly
