Since its finally starting to cool down a bit in Japan, I am looking forward to finally wearing longer clothes and boots again. I have a favorite pair of mock toes. You guys have any inspiration for a good combo? Thought of maybe combining it with a wool or felt coat and a jeans.

What is a mock toe? Is the toe excluded from the boot? Is it just a sole and a toe?

I have black Thorogoods and brown Red Wing mocs. I usually wear them with black, or blue straight jeans cuffed a little above where the break would be. Besides denim a wider leg millitary cut olive pant, or Carhartts sometimes cuffed sometimes not. As for tops I don’t really think about it too much. Sweaters, flannels, t shirts, hoodies, button downs, denim jackets all work well. A felt or wool jacket will definitely work.
It would help to see the pair, but jeans, an ocbd or sweater or whatever, and an overcoat are generally a pretty safe combo, yeah.
