Are there any open source EASY basic photo shop type programs?
Same for basic video editing?
I use stuff like that once a year, and usually for basic tasks (like shortening a video) and I don’t need a 12 hour tutorial every time :(
Krita: “what am I, chopped liver?”
No, you’re a digital painting app rather than a photo retouching app.
Let’s just keep hype in check. It’s a more than welcome update, and indeed an improvement to this wonderful free software. Still, there are a couple things to fix. But i will indeed use it now more than before.
I know what you’re saying but…
💫🥳💫🥳 GIMP3CAMEOUTTODAYANDIT’SAWESOME!!! 🥳💫🥳💫🥳
Have they copied the UI of photoshop yet so it’s usable?
It’s been the default UI for quite some time. And been available as an option for over a decade if I remember. This most recent update is dedicated to non-destructive editing and better color management more than anything if I’m not mistaken. Although it has been known to happen.
No, but Photopea does, and it’s free.
AKA Have they copied the menu structure and tool names of photoshop yet so I don’t have to learn anything new
I dunno man, the default GIMP configuration is very…unique.
I tried to learn it and couldn’t because the UI is ass
Ended up pirating photoshop
Bad UI design is what prevented me from using an app that has hundreds of options that are better organized in Photoshop.
Sorry for asking a real question and not sucking the dick you wanted me to
I don’t mean to be rude but I just couldn’t resist the urge to spend a couple of minutes making this for you in GIMP 3.0
This is a fanboy response. Gimp is KNOWN for it’s unintuitive and hard to learn UI.
Unfortunately, this is a problem that plagues many FOSS applications.
Hold on i have one for you too.
