A new bill introduced by Angela Paxton, wife of Texas AG Ken Paxton, would impose privacy-invading age verification requirements on online sex toy retailers.

How long until age verification for a dildo turns into gender verification denying men their god given right to get absolutely plowed by the dildo of their choice

I’m a native, but I’m so glad I got out of that shithole. Love the state, hate what the government does.

Love the food but that’s about it. Texans either keep voting for these assholes because they like it or they can’t be bothered to give a shit about things that don’t directly affect them.

Texan here. Considering purchasing some dildos of unusual size. D. O. U. S. Then mailing them at random to Mrs Paxton in clear containers, with her name plastered all over the side of it. Can’t get in trouble for giving gifts, can I? 😈

Well in the case of physical items you do need to provide an address for shipping, so they can also enforce this if the address is in Texas, regardless of IP location.

This is true but I feel like a shop in another state is not going to respect that requirement since its not like weed or something that is illegal in the state. Just that it needs age verification to browse the shop. Also a temp credit card from some place like privacy.com would fix them using the payment system tracking you. Also wouldn’t putting in your credit card automatically verify you.

I also find this even more ridiculous that in Texas they sell sex toys in Spencer’s Gifts in the mall.

Oh it’s definitely ridiculous, just pointing out that the logistics of avoiding the ban might be a bit more complicated than just using a VPN (assuming the vendors do comply, indeed).

Yeah good for pointing that out hopefully our mail can remain private for now. But the ways things are going i expect it won’t be long before all mail is scanned by the Ministry of Truth.
