The UAW and the Teamsters have national bargaining. If you’re in retail or are a grad student, your union bargains local by local rn. Our unions have to do a lot of work coordinating bargaining before we see 36% raises outside of wearhouses and manufacturing.
If UAW get it, there’s a solid chance we all can.
