    the most annoying part of using lemmy instances is having login reset and all the blocked communities - usually shitty memes communities - appear back on my feed

      Nowadays i mostly use app to browse lemmy, the webui is just too clunky for doomscrolling lol. Been using Liftoff and it’s quite okay, with some jank of course.

        i find there’s a bug when going from local to all -> click on a thread -> going back to previous page and it returns to the local instead of all. seems like using an app is the best way to use lemmy instances for now.

          Yeah, the webui has that problem and it doesn’t seems to be on the fix list, that’s why i just switch to app instead and use the webui for modding.

          But if you’re on pc, you can use the alternate webui too, alex.monyet.cc and old.monyet.cc

    I know it’s a tragedy and still too soon but the press statement from a certain someone who was at the Bangkok shooting seems so privileged. security team, human body armor, able to be escorted to the embassy. blergh. so out of touch

    also glad it didn’t happen few weeks before.

    I drove my lowered car and smashed it into a really steep driveway yesterday 😭

    Oh well I’m just gonna get a TRD front splitter to cover it…. Been thinking of getting it for the past 2 years but this time I will bite the bullet fr

    That will further reduce my clearance by about 15mm lol I’m officially banned from driving up driveways rip
