    Hold your breath before the mask goes on then really quickly say “tennineeightsevensixfivefourthreetwoone”

    Breath in, and then go “bet you I’m the first to…”

      I may be wrong, but I think the mask is just oxygen. What puts you under is the stuff they inject you.

        That’s how it was for my recent surgery. They specifically told me it was just oxygen, and the anesthesia was given through IV and it burned like a motherfucker.

        When I got my wisdom teeth out though - they had laughing gas through the mask before even placing the IV. Didn’t feel shiiit for that one, but also wasn’t placed under as deeply so maybe it was a different knockout med
