I have had vehicles go around me while I was stopped at an intersection with that sign displayed, so they would turn right on red. The allowance of turning right on red in North America in itself is a deadly law that needs to be stricken from the books. Drivers are becoming more and more careless while their vehicles are getting deadlier.
