      That’s always going to be a bit of a tradeoff and point of criticism for Kane isn’t it. He wasn’t able to do it in the Premier League so went somewhere easier. Unless he wins the Champions’ League, any Bundesliga trophies will not be looked on as “real” trophies. At least for his sake it’s actually quite a competitive season this year.

        @hallenbeck @coys @spurs Pretty much Champions League or bust for him.

        But I also don’t know that he would have fit in as well in this Big Ange system. He’s obviously world-class, but Big Ange plays so high and fast that it could have caused Kane to fall back into the injury streak he had when he was younger.

          Yeah, I agree totally, I don’t think we’d have done as well as a team with him still around because of the concessions we’d have had to make to fit him in. Luckily with Son we do seem to have the perfect Ange forward. Such a shame we lost Perišić and don’t have an alternative to cross balls and make most of aerial threat players like Richy and Veliz for when Son comes off.
