Ok, good sleep, healthily eating, ok, ok. About “don’t deal with people who upset you”, how exactly can I do that ?

I think it’s probably more about not intentionally seeking out people that you know will only upset you. e.g. Going on a forum that specifically conflicts with your morals.

That’s legitimately not good advice, and I’m saying that as a therapist. You need to learn how to deal with people who upset you! Maybe she meant more of “don’t put your energy into people who don’t bother putting energy into you” vibe?

An even better suggestion. Trust me if I could afford it, I’d be on my own little Polynesian island right now in a my own private estate, maybe with a servant or two - definitely would need electricity for playing God of War and Mini Motorways. What do I need other people for!?

Yeah that, that is just not going to happen. Sorry. There’s no way you can avoid conflict with other people. That’s a huge part of what being alive is. You do get to decide how you let it affect you - but you can’t do much to stop it. I think he should have said, “When you deal with people who upset you, learn some routines to get rid of the stress.”
