Lost in the lol McDaniels(Fuck him) isn’t it kinda odd that a GM barely got one and half season to prove himself. Guessing both were a package deal but it’s still odd he got fired this early. Has there ever been a shorter tenure for GM?

Man I’m happy to be moving in a new direction at HC but it actually sucks for Ziegler that these guys were best buddies and a package deal. He didn’t do bad as a GM and I have no ill will towards him whatsoever, seemed like a great dude. But this had to be done…not sure he could have stayed around without Josh.
The Browns had two different GMs (George Kokinis in 2009 and Mike Lombardi in 2013) who lasted only one season before getting fired, plus Sashi Brown (2016-17) who also didn’t get two full seasons.
To be fair, the Browns are an organizational dumpster fire

I think the next guy that should be fired is the guy who hired Ziegler
John Idzik only lasted 2 years in New York (he most notably got rid of Revis, Holmes, Scott, Cromartie, and anyone else good from the last Jets playoff teams, then whiffed on TWELVE consecutive picks in the 2014 draft.)
