Assume mainstream adoption as used by around 7% of all github projects

Personally, I’d like to see Nim get that growth.

    As a side note, I think the industry at large was too quick to throw away the benefits of ref counting. Ever since Java, it’s been almost all threaded collection. Yes, ref counting does mean you have to be careful about circular refs. The benefits you get are simplicity, speed, and predictability.
