I think people are way off saying guys like Stafford and Cousins. You have to look at what makes a HoF QB… It’s either Superbowls (and usually multiple or one + other accolades), Pro Bowls and APs, MVPs and stats
In the grand scheme of things, Stafford and Cousins are guys whose stats would’ve made them HoF’ers in a different era probably, but they are pretty much just good QBs for the era they played in.
Mahomes and Rodgers are locks, no questions asked. Russ is probably a no, but borderline.
Outside of those 3, I would argue that the QB with the 4th best chance of they retired today that is currently playing is honestly Lamar. That isn’t to say he would get in… He wouldn’t, not by a long shot, but he has more of a case than guys like Stafford and Cousins.
